something misses in my life these days

you're far away, travelling as usual

you see things for me, you register and gather and record

then you come back (cause you always come back), we sit on the couch, you open your bag, you give me amazing presents, you tell me your stories, you paint in the air the places you've seen

your voice empties the living room, your eyes lighten in the dark, your hand holds mine, and i kiss you on your back

night falls, and once more

i have traveled with you
