double face

here it is: identity
it's a matter i've been thinking about a lot, these last months

i've also written some posts about it here on my blog (multiple identity, party invitation, real self / virtual self)

and i've also created a group on flickr: double face

i think that today identity is, more than in the past, a complex issue, and everchanging too
we have less limits (social ones, most of all, but also ethical, familiar, political..), cause we have more freedom
we also have more inputs from the putside world: we read more, we watch tv, etc etc
AND
we have this second dimension: the web, which is a sort of parallel universe, in which we often have ANOTHER identity

so then: is our time the time fo double identity? or is it just a less unitary identity we have, made of fragments that somehow are put together but some kind of interior (or just physical) tape?

I can only speak for myself but in normal case you behave and talk via internet as you would in normal life. Maybe sometimes not that fast in such a intimate way. But I think its important not to hide your "real" identity to be taken serious. My way of analyzing life - mine and the one from other people - is quite the same and my kind of humour too.
I'm glad that I don't feel I had to be different in the virtual part of my life to feel accepted at all. Which doesn't mean that I have big self confidence. I'm jst not afraid of showing weaknesses...
